  I was very disappointed. When I read the reviews I was excited to check out this church. It has been a while sense I've attended church and was looking forward to going. I was very disappointment, the person I spoke to on the phone about attending church did not seem to be very informed. She did not seem to want to give me what little information I did finally get. Plus I have to attend some sort of class to join, that is offered quarterly??? She didn't know when the next class would be nor was she sure when the last one was. I had to ask if I could still come to the church or did I have to wait for this quarterly class. So disappointed, but I will keep looking for a church that is more accepting and more informed.

  The first thing you notice at this Church is love. The Church has an unwavering love for Jesus that permeates everything it does. The congregation is overflowing love for each other, and, as a first time visitor, I was greeted with this same love. The sermons are based on scripture and gospel centered. The worship is focused on praising God and giving Him glory. Every ministry of this Church is done with excellence. The chidlren's ministry was particularly refreshing as the children are well cared for and taught directly from the Bible.

  I searched all over the Tidewater area for a church for my family. Out of all of the churches I visited I found New Song Fellowship to be the warmest and most welcoming church. The congregation is so friendly and they are very sincere in their desire to make you feel welcome. The pastor is amazing. He is definitely not boring and is very knowledgeable of the Bible and he uses many resources, including technology, to make the worship experience exciting and meaningful. My whole family now calls this church home. There are wonderful programs for children of all ages and child care is provided for all services. Everyone who works with your children has been screened to make sure your child is always safe. The youth program is outstanding, offering many experiences to help our young men and women grow into Christian adults with a desire to serve God. There are many opportunities for mission trips and we have a strong evangelism program in the summer months which focuses on the beach area. New Song Fellowship has just partnered with missionaries in Lithuania and there are opportunities for everyone to help with the work and church planting that God has called us to do in this country. Last, but not least, it offers an awesome praise and worship team with both contemporary and traditional music that will make your worship experience complete. If you are looking for a church that shows love, has solid Biblical teaching, has good programs and opportunities for children, youth, and adults, then come on out to New Song Fellowship. It is my church home and I would love for you to make it yours.

  This place is filled with joy and love for one another but above all love for God and His word. The pastor makes the bible come to life. He digs in deeper to the chapters verse by verse which helps me understand the layers of the word and how it's still relevant today. I have learned so much and wake up on Sunday morning excited to go to church. I am a proud member of New Song! I love everything about this place and all of the people I now call my church family.

  A very warm and welcoming congregation whose love for each other and the word of God is very clear and obvious, as well as the kind and inviting greeters who make your visit to New Song an easy and pleasant experience. A great mix of contemporary and traditional worship music that is very enjoyable. The Pastor is very personable and kind, and he is an excellent teacher. The sermons are relevant, edifying and gospel centered. Great child care facilities and staff, and the use of the "Kid Check" system gives parents the peace of mind knowing that their children are safe and secure. All child care workers submit to a background check. This church loves Jesus Christ! If you are looking for a church to feel connected to... if you are looking for genuine fellowship and spiritual growth then this is the church for you!
