  I live in Florida now, but visit Virgina Beach often to check up on my plumbing business and I still have a home here as well. Today I visited the Rock Church where I was saved 30 years ago by a wonderful man named John Gimenez my life changed after this man touch my heart with the presence of Jesus... My heart lit up inside this beautiful church this morning the music was Amazing good seeing everyone again.

  Today I asked Pastor John Blanchard to pray for my step father who is in Chester County Hospital, Penna being treated in the ICU. Pastor Blanchard asked about his condition then stopped everything, held my hand and called on the Lord to heal my stepfather. As a saved believer, it bought comfort and gave me confidence and strength I will need to go home and be with my family.
  I recommend anyone looking for a Spirit filled God Centered Ministry that serves individuals, families and communities Glocally (Global & Local), that they need to make The Rock Church their home. Thank you again Pastor Blanchard.

  As a new member, It was very nice, my first time there. The only complaint that I see is that they asked for about 5 offerings.
  
  It would be better in my opinion, to ask for ONE, maybe two. They asked, one to give for the homeless, then another offering for the globel missionary churches, then another for the guest speaker and another for something else, I forgot, I lost track, it's so many. It's as though they want us to do the work for them in how to divi up the money. Then they go on to explain how you can give on line, and in a check, or cash, etc.
  
  It just gives the wrong impression as to where their emphasis is. I'm sure it is not the money. I have no doubt of their sincerity but it is quite disconcerting.
  
  I've gone to many other churches and have never experienced a church that ask for five offerings and more. They (other chuches) ask for one, maybe two then they divi it up to give to where ever or whoever.
  
  Other then the money issue, I found the church people very nice, the choir and songs good allowing the congregation to sing and enough time for each member to worship thru song, which is the heart of members.
  
  The message from the special guest was very good and nothing was rushed. I enjoyed that very much. I look forward to continue with this church. If it wasn't for that one monetary issue I would give it five stars.
  
  I wish they would take my advice of asking one time for an offering and not five times and more, but I know that will not happen.

  I agree with everything written below. This is a powerful church with a strong body of believers that knows how to pray. The preaching and teaching are also out of this world, and right on point with the Holy Spirit, further enriched by many absolutely phenomenal visiting speakers. The quality of worship is also excellent with great sound and a powerful anointing, along with plenty of time given to really dive into God's presence. People are warm and accepting, and I always leave feeling ministered to, stronger, and like I've been given a feast...for free!!! I also like that I never feel pressured to give, which makes it easy to do so liberally, from the heart, because I want to! Rock Church freely pours out God's goodness on all.
